Gyeongsan City, Gyeongbuk Province, held a budget policy meeting on the 17th at the office of National Assembly member Yoon Doo-hyun to secure national funding for the next year.

About 20 people, including Mayor-elect Jo Hyun-il, Vice Mayor Kim Ju-ryeong, senior officials, and aides attended the meeting to have in-depth discussions on local issues and strategies for securing national funds for each project.
The city explained the review trends and progress status of central government departments regarding next year’s national funding projects, and requested active support to open the way for new projects such as the establishment of an xEV energy storage protection body development support platform in preparation for the industrial ecosystem transformation of future vehicles, the Gyeongbuk electric vehicle next-generation wireless charging regulatory free zone, and the expansion of the National Road No. 4 Gyeongsan Cheongcheon~Buho single section.
Assemblyman Yoon Doo-hyun said, “I will work hard together with the mayor to ensure that the projects proposed by the city are reflected in the government budget as much as possible,” and urged, “The city should also strive to foster ICT and advanced industries suitable for the 4th Industrial Revolution era and to discover new projects that will be stepping stones for Gyeongsan’s development.”
The city plans to cooperate organically with local National Assembly members, Gyeongbuk Province, and central government officials to secure the target amount of 290 billion KRW in national funding for next year as much as possible.
