'Hello! K-pop Festa' in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan
South Korea and Kazakhstan are expanding cultural exchanges starting with a K-pop concert. On the 18th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will hold the 'Hello! K-pop Festa' in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan. This marks the beginning of the 'Year of Mutual Cultural Exchange' to commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations. Singers Baek Ji-young, Highlight, and VIVIZ will perform popular songs widely known overseas, such as "That Woman," "Fiction," and "You and I." A ministry official said, "Interest is so high that tickets sold out within three hours." From the 24th, the ministry will continue exchanges by exhibiting Korean paintings by artist Park Dae-sung at the Nur-Sultan National Central Museum. In September, Sumi Jo will be invited to perform a classical concert at the Astana Opera Ballet Theater in Nur-Sultan. A visit performance by the Kazakhstan National Astana Ballet is also being prepared.
