KT IS Launches Combined Product for Taxi Display Advertising
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] KT Group's customer service specialist company KT IS announced on the 17th that it signed a business agreement with the mobility platform 'Kakao Mobility' on the 1st and launched the 'Townboard+BlueRSE' product, beginning full-scale sales activities.
'Townboard' is an apartment elevator advertising medium, and KT IS acquired KT's Townboard business last March. At the time of acquisition, the number of elevator displays, which was about 10,000 units, has been aggressively expanded to over 20,000 units within three months. BlueRSE refers to rear-seat entertainment seen on in-taxi display media and is Kakao Mobility's advertising business model.
KT IS planned and launched a combined advertising product that integrates elevator media and taxi media to improve the product value of Townboard and grow as a space media operator. The newly launched 'Townboard+BlueRSE' combined advertising product links advertising between residential spaces (apartments) represented by Townboard and mobility spaces (taxis) represented by Kakao Mobility.
