A man in his 40s who wielded a weapon against his ex-wife and brother-in-law's couple was urgently arrested by the police.

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyun-joo] A man in his 40s who stabbed his ex-wife and his ex-wife's younger brother's wife to death with a weapon was arrested by the police.
On the 16th, Jeongeup Police Station in Jeonbuk announced that they had urgently arrested Mr. A (49) on charges including murder.
At around 5:40 p.m. that day, Mr. A wielded a weapon at a store in Jeongeup City against his ex-wife Ms. B and her younger brother and his wife. Ms. B and the younger brother's wife, who were stabbed, died, and Ms. B's younger brother, who is in critical condition, was transferred to a hospital and is receiving treatment.
It was investigated that Mr. A went to the store run by the younger brother and his wife to meet Ms. B and committed the crime. The police reported that CCTV footage around the scene captured Mr. A approaching the crime scene carrying a weapon he had prepared in advance. After the crime, Mr. A hid in a nearby farm but was urgently arrested by the police who responded to the report.
