"Join Lotte ON and Zero Waste" Lotte ON Holds Event with The Body Shop
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Lotte ON is partnering with The Body Shop to hold the "Iro ON (ON) Brand" event from the 17th to the 30th of this month.
According to Lotte ON on the 16th, the Iro ON Brand is an eco-friendly project held monthly to actively promote brands engaged in earth-friendly business activities such as veganism and upcycling, to customers, and to help activate consumption of related products. This month, The Body Shop was selected to host events such as the first refill support and eco-friendly product giveaways, along with various benefits including discounts and points accumulation to promote eco-friendly consumption.
The Body Shop is an eco-friendly beauty brand that produces over 68% of its packaging from recyclable materials and collects and recycles empty containers to create upcycled products. It also practices zero waste by operating refill stations where customers can bring empty containers to purchase products.
Accordingly, Lotte ON has prepared various benefits so that customers can directly experience The Body Shop’s eco-friendly values and products. During the event period, customers who purchase The Body Shop products worth over 30,000 KRW will receive 2,000 L.Points. On the 17th and 18th, the "The Body Shop Big Sale Day," offering the year’s biggest benefits, will be held, with up to 30% discounts on eco-friendly products and other popular items from The Body Shop.
Representative eco-friendly products include the "Large Capacity Ginger Scalp Care Shampoo (400ml)" made with natural ingredients that care for scalp health and the environment, the "NEW Scented Body Lotion White Musk (400ml)" which contains no animal-derived ingredients, and the "White Musk Shower Gel (400ml)" made with 100% recycled plastic containers.
Additionally, Lotte ON has prepared benefits to support customers’ first refill experience in connection with The Body Shop’s refill station stores. After downloading an exchange voucher from the Lotte ON event page and visiting a The Body Shop store with a refill station, customers will receive a 5,000 KRW discount coupon usable at the refill station and a "The Body Shop Aluminum Reusable Bottle (300ml)" to carry their refilled product.
