On the 13th, according to the county, the "2022 Industrial Complex Environment Improvement Project Government Joint Contest" hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy has finally selected the "Hakgyo Industrial Complex Complex Cultural Center Construction Project."
Including the 2.7 billion KRW in national funds secured through this contest, the county plans to invest a total project cost of about 4 billion KRW to build the complex cultural center within the Hakgyo Industrial Complex by 2024.
The center is expected to be constructed as a two-story building with a total floor area of 1,100㎡, reflecting the needs of workers, and will be reborn as a complex cultural space equipped with cultural and convenience facilities such as a cafe, convenience store, sports facilities, and a share house.
In particular, all facilities except the share house will be open to residents, contributing not only to improving the working environment of workers but also to enhancing residents' leisure and welfare.
A county official said, "We will do our best to promote the project so that various cultural and welfare services can be provided to residents and workers who had limited access to cultural enjoyment."
Meanwhile, the Hakgyo Industrial Complex is located in Jukjeong-ri, Hakgyo-myeon, and since its completion in 1989, 26 companies are currently operating there.
