Jeonju City Operates '100,000 Steps Challenge' for 10 Days
[Jeonju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonju City announced on the 10th that it will operate a non-face-to-face health walking program called the ‘100,000 Steps in 10 Days Challenge’ from the 13th to the 22nd as the first step toward daily recovery to reactivate the citizens' decreased physical activity.
Those who wish to participate can install the ‘WalkOn’ app on their personal phones, join the official Jeonju City community, and then press the ‘Join Challenge’ button to participate in the walking.
The Jeonju City Public Health Center plans to give prizes to 200 citizens who achieve the goal of walking 100,000 steps in 10 days.
Jeonju City also plans to prepare walking programs in the second half of this year to promote a healthy lifestyle practice atmosphere.
