Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station Participates in Lively Healing Agriculture Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Northern Fire Station will participate in the Saengsaeng Healing Agriculture Program, organized by the Gwangju Agricultural Technology Center, every Thursday until the 23rd at the main office to manage the mental health of its employees.
Due to the nature of their duties, firefighters are repeatedly exposed to dangerous and horrific disaster situations. This program was promoted to provide healing and recovery time by participating in healing agriculture activities that use various agricultural and rural resources to restore mental and physical health.
The main programs include making a Hope Glass Garden, healing activities using plants, creating a Love Basket Garden, making a healing space to enjoy the scents and colors of the four seasons, and making a box vegetable garden, each week featuring a different theme and content.
