When announcing the floor leaders, the People Power Party emphasized that the Democratic Party of Korea is responsible for the parliamentary vacuum. Floor spokesperson Yang Geum-hee said in a statement, "The People Power Party can no longer neglect its responsibilities as the National Assembly and ruling party," stressing, "It is urgent to play the role of a policy party prioritizing the economy and people's livelihood."
