Imsil-gun Receives 'S Grade' in Performance Evaluation of Agricultural Products Integrated Marketing Organization Report

[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil County has been honored with the highest grade in the Jeollabuk-do integrated agricultural products marketing performance evaluation.

The county announced on the 8th that it received the highest grade, 'S grade,' in the integrated agricultural products marketing organization operation performance evaluation hosted by Jeollabuk-do, earning an additional provincial subsidy incentive of 100 million KRW.

This evaluation was conducted on 13 integrated agricultural products marketing organizations, including city and county cooperative joint business corporations within Jeollabuk-do, based on overall business operation performance of integrated marketing organizations as of the end of 2021, including producer organization, organization operation, product commercialization, and integrated marketing sales performance.

The county achieved the highest grade in this evaluation following a B grade in 2020 and an A grade in last year's evaluation.

This achievement is recognized as the result of continuous efforts to revitalize integrated agricultural products marketing.

The county has focused on revitalizing integrated agricultural products marketing by investing over 600 million KRW annually in its own project funds through cooperative projects with the NongHyup.

Imsil County's integrated marketing specialized organization, Imsil County Cooperative Joint Business Corporation (APC), has been the driving force behind more than 30% annual growth, attracting attention by achieving a record high integrated marketing handling performance of 24.5 billion KRW last year.

In March, the county also received the nationwide first place (A grade for four consecutive years) in the horticultural industry development plan implementation performance evaluation hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.

Additionally, in the comprehensive evaluation of NongHyup organization sector's production area distribution, Imsil County Cooperative Joint Business Corporation (CEO Eom Gwiseop) achieved first place nationwide (A grade), proving that Imsil County's integrated marketing is the nation's best leading organization.

A county official said, “The consecutive first-place wins in external evaluations are a valuable result of the efforts made through cooperation among administration, NongHyup, and the cooperative joint business corporation, making it even more brilliant and proud. We will continue to strive to increase farmers' income by promoting multifaceted and aggressive marketing in the rapidly changing consumer market.”
