Wanju-gun, Public Health Center Mobile Healthcare Project Operation
Managing Residents' Nutrition and Exercise with Smart Bands
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju County announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting participants for the 'Public Health Center Mobile Healthcare Project' starting on the 7th of this month.
The Mobile Healthcare Project is a non-face-to-face program where a dedicated public health center team composed of doctors, nurses, nutritionists, and exercise specialists provides customized health management services such as health, nutrition, and exercise using a smartphone app and smart band (activity tracker).
The service is available to the first 80 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone aged 19 or older who is a Wanju County resident or an employee working within Wanju County, and who does not have any diseases at the time of the initial health checkup at the public health center, can participate.
Applications can be made starting from the 7th by contacting the Health Promotion Division, Health Promotion Team of the public health center.
Participants selected for the project will be provided with a smart band, and their health status can be checked through body measurements and blood tests during the initial, mid-term, and final visits to the public health center.
Additionally, health consultations will be conducted via the mobile app and smart band for 24 weeks.
