[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (KSMB) announced on the 1st that it has signed a business support memorandum of understanding (MOU) for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) co-growth with Hyundai Motor Company to support small enterprises and small business owners.
This agreement was established as part of corporate social responsibility and social contribution efforts, including support for small enterprises and small business owners struggling due to COVID-19 and ESG co-growth.
Small enterprises and small business owners enrolled in the Yellow Umbrella program who purchase the light SUV Casper or Casper Van can receive benefits such as ▲customized low-interest installment plans ▲special card promotion (200,000 KRW cashback) ▲partial support for the deposit when purchasing a Casper Van (100,000 KRW).
The customized financial program offers ▲deferred installment plans (zero monthly payments for 6 months) for novice entrepreneurs who have just started a business ▲grace period installment plans (monthly payments around 90,000 KRW) for those expecting a lump sum payment in the future ▲standard installment plans (low interest rates around 1% per annum) for veteran entrepreneurs in a stable phase, allowing buyers to choose according to their financial circumstances.
Hyundai Motor Company also provides a promotion allowing Yellow Umbrella members to test drive the Casper for 2 hours using car-sharing platforms (Socar and Green Car), enabling them to experience the Casper for free.
