[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] Gyeongbuk Province is launching a half-price discount event for rural experience products to revitalize tourism in rural areas as daily life returns to normal after COVID-19.
This discount event is available throughout June on Gyeongbuk’s ‘Oiso’ platform.
On the homepage main screen, go to ‘Book Experience Tourism,’ enter the region (city/county name), desired date, and experience name, then select an available experience through the search.
To ensure smooth operation of the experience programs, advance reservation is mandatory to receive the discount.
Oiso is an integrated portal providing various information and services related to rural experiences, tourism, travel, food, and accommodation in the region.
Currently, Oiso has registered and is selling 70 experience products from 22 locations including experience leisure villages and sixth industry operators.
Along with this event, there is also the ‘Gyeongbuk Rural Experience Tourism Travel Review Event,’ where the first 200 people to post travel reviews on ‘Oiso’ can receive a 10,000 KRW convenience store mobile gift card.
