Police Suspected to Have Had an Accident During Nighttime Netting Operation

According to the police and fire authorities, in the early morning of the 24th, a fishing boat under 1 ton collided with the side of another fishing boat of similar size under Banghwa Bridge in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province.
As a result of the accident, a man in his 60s who was on board the boat fell into the water.
Police and fire authorities who responded to the report searched the area near the accident site for about 1 hour and 30 minutes and found the fisherman, but he was already deceased. It was confirmed that there were no additional casualties.
