'Valley Murder' Suspects Eunhae Lee and Hyunsoo Jo's Acquaintance Arrested...Prosecutors Request Arrest Warrants
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The prosecution has arrested an acquaintance of Lee Eun-hae (31) and Jo Hyun-soo (30), who are accomplices in the "Valley Murder" case.
The Criminal Division 2 of the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Kim Chang-soo) announced on the 19th that they arrested Mr. A (30) on charges of aiding and abetting murder and attempted violation of the Special Act on the Prevention of Insurance Fraud, and requested an arrest warrant.
According to the prosecution, Mr. A is suspected of aiding and abetting the crime when Lee and Jo murdered Lee's husband, Yoon (aged 39 at the time of death), at Yongsogye Valley in Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, at 8:24 p.m. on June 30, 2019.
Mr. A is known to be a close acquaintance of Lee, who has already been detained and indicted on charges including murder and attempted murder, and is also a friend of Jo.
