Busangil, Contacting Voters On-site Riding a Kickboard
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Chang-won] Boo Sang-il, the People Power Party candidate running in the Jeju-si Eul by-election, announced on the 19th that he will carry out the "Miryun Gomtaengi Quick Service" project on the 17th.
The Miryun Gomtaengi Quick Service is a project that involves riding an eco-friendly electric kickboard to explore public livelihood issues.
It embodies the determination to quickly rush like a quick service on a kickboard to places in need, solving issues without worrying about parking.
Candidate Boo Sang-il explained that he has thoroughly equipped safety gear for the Miryun Gomtaengi Quick Service.
He wears a lightweight and sturdy helmet, along with wrist and knee protectors. In the backpack he carries while riding the kickboard are policy materials painstakingly prepared through his fifth attempt at the challenge, and a thick notebook for taking notes on-site.
Candidate Boo Sang-il mentioned that he had a hard time finding a helmet because of his large head.
The quick service will be conducted during times without official schedules, touring eup and myeon areas as well as urban districts. The plan is to listen to local public opinion while riding the kickboard and seek solutions to current issues.
There is also an expectation to expand support by emphasizing the "field-oriented" close contact, which is considered one of candidate Boo Sang-il’s strengths.
Candidate Boo Sang-il said, "There are social pains curled up everywhere that can be missed when moving quickly by car. If someone asks for help, I will rush to solve it quickly like a quick service."
