Promotion of Boseong Green Tea DB Public Data Project
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] On the 12th, Jeollanam-do Boseong-gun announced that it has secured 300 million KRW in national funding after being selected for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s ‘Public Data Enterprise Matching Support Project’ competition.
This public data project, conducted without any burden on the county budget, is carried out under the theme of ‘Establishing and Opening the Boseong Green Tea DB to Promote Tea Culture.’
Boseong-gun plans to collect green tea-related data scattered across various departments and institutions to build an integrated database.
The goal is to establish 7,700 categorized green tea data entries and 10 open APIs.
This month, agreements will be signed with related companies, and from July to December, the processes of data collection, integration, processing, standardization, visualization, and opening will be carried out.
In December, the final results will be registered on the Public Data Portal to open all data to the public.
A county official explained, “Once the green tea DB is completed through digital transformation of various forms of information related to green tea, it can be utilized for app development, product development, and further combined with various fields such as tourism, festivals, and experiences, thereby expecting to expand the base of tea culture.”
Meanwhile, the ‘Public Data Enterprise Matching Project’ is a project where local governments and companies collaborate to build and open public data.
