Daewoo Launches Special Liquid Silicone for Intelligent Headlamps

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Dow, a global materials science company, announced on the 12th that it has launched a special liquid silicone rubber for intelligent headlamps (ADB) called 'Silastic MS-5002 Molderable Silicone.'
The newly released silicone material features low mold fouling performance that shortens the manufacturing cycle, provides high-quality optical properties for ADB, maintains high transparency to maximize light-emitting diode (LED) light output, and does not discolor.
With this launch, Dow has expanded its portfolio of molderable optical materials, including Silastic MS-1002, MS-1001, and MS-4002.
