Reliable 'Kim San' Drives COVID-19 Crisis Recovery and Regional Development Over 4 Years
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Nine party officials (council chairmen, youth leaders, women leaders) from nine eup and myeon in Muan-gun, Jeonnam, of the Democratic Party of Korea have declared their support for independent candidate Kim San, causing a significant shift in the local political landscape.
On the 10th, 25 party officials from the nine eup and myeon of the Democratic Party visited candidate Kim San and declared their support.
They explained that Kim San, the prospective candidate, has focused solely on the residents over the past four years, carrying out administration for the development of Muan, earning the support of many residents. They also cited his efforts to overcome the COVID-19 crisis steadfastly like a great mountain as the reason for their support declaration.
They evaluated Kim as an honest and silent candidate who is essential to blooming the flower of hope called Muan's development.
In particular, despite ranking overwhelmingly first in various opinion polls, they expressed strong suspicion about his unexplained exclusion from the party nomination and insisted that Kim San is absolutely necessary for the development of Muan.
Meanwhile, Song Nam-su, chairman of the Democratic Party Muan-gun Regional Committee Member Council, submitted his resignation from the party to the Jeonnam Provincial Party Headquarters at 9 a.m. today (the 11th), stating his intention to correct the flawed nomination process through this local election.
