Naver Joins Forces with Tech Startups... Opens 'Naver D2SF @Bundang'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Naver's startup nurturing organization D2SF announced on the 11th that it has opened a dedicated space for technology startups, 'Naver D2SF @Bundang,' in Naver's second office building '1784.'
The concept of 'Naver D2SF @Bundang' is 'Collaboratory,' which means experimenting and collaborating together. Naver and startups work and live in the same building, enabling more comfortable and closer interactions.
The first resident startups include eight teams in the fields of metaverse, artificial intelligence (AI), big data, robotics, and healthcare: ▲ 'N.Dot.Light,' which developed a 3D content design solution ▲ 'VirtualFlow,' developing an Unreal 3D content toolset package ▲ 'Laplace Technologies,' operating an e-commerce data integration and analysis solution ▲ logistics robot startup 'Flotic' ▲ gene data analysis startup 'iCrozin,' among others. These companies plan to interact with various organizations within Naver during their residency.
Currently, Laplace Technologies is discussing with Naver ways to support the growth of online SMEs that have started businesses through Naver Smart Store, and iCrozin is collaborating with Naver Cloud to provide cloud-based gene analysis services.
In addition to the space, various synergy programs will continue to diversify the points of contact so that Naver and startups can stimulate each other with new impulses. Specifically, various programs are planned where Naver employees can experience startup technologies and services at 1784, including technical seminars and meetups with Naver technology leaders.
