KB Insurance Donates Social Contribution Fund to Holt Children's Welfare Association
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] KB Insurance announced on the 11th that it delivered the ‘365 Baby Care Kit (KIT)’ and a social contribution fund of 70 million KRW to Holt Children’s Services, located in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 10th to support infants and toddlers in single-parent families.
The fund delivery ceremony held in conjunction with ‘Single-Parent Family Day’ was attended by Ki-hwan Kim, CEO of KB Insurance, Su-yeon Lee, Chairperson of Holt Children’s Services, and actress Sung-eun Kim, a publicity ambassador for Holt Children’s Services.
The ‘365 Baby Care Kit’ is a childcare product kit that gathers essential items needed by single mothers for raising infants and toddlers after childbirth, including diapers, formula, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, and clothing.
This kit was designed with the purpose of ‘alleviating the economic difficulties of single-parent families and protecting children’s lives healthily 365 days a year.’ It contains eco-friendly childcare products tailored to the child’s monthly age, reflecting consideration for both single-parent families and the environment.
Since first partnering with Holt Children’s Services in May 2014, KB Insurance has supported approximately 1.27 billion KRW worth of ‘365 Baby Care Kits’ for 1,277 single-parent families over eight years.
