Hanyang Wins 50 Billion KRW Contract for New Logistics Center Construction in Yeoju

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Seoyul] Hanyang announced on the 11th that it has won the contract for the construction of a logistics center in Ganam, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi Province, worth 50 billion KRW.
The total construction cost of the contracted logistics center is approximately 50 billion KRW, with a construction period of 18 months, and is scheduled to be completed in January 2024.
The logistics center is planned to be built on a site of about 8,000 pyeong in Ganam-eup, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi Province, with 2 basement floors and 4 above-ground floors. It will consist of a low-temperature warehouse underground and a room-temperature warehouse above ground, with easy vehicle access on all floors. The floor height is designed to be over 10 meters.
The logistics center site is adjacent to the Yeongdong and Jungbu Inland Expressways, as well as National Road No. 3. Notably, it is located along National Road No. 3 and faces a four-lane road in both directions.

A Hanyang official stated, “We will expand our contract areas across various sectors, including public institution bidding projects, urban redevelopment projects, and energy projects, without being limited to logistics centers.”
