KOSDAQ Widens Early Losses... Down 1.29%

As of 9:30 a.m. that day, the KOSDAQ index stood at 872.81, down 11.41 points (1.29%) from the previous trading day. The KOSDAQ index opened at 880.34, down 3.88 points (0.44%), but the decline widened as foreigners sold off 66.1 billion KRW worth of stocks and institutions net sold about 10 billion KRW. Individuals net bought 75.4 billion KRW.

At the same time, the KOSPI index recorded 2,632.30, down 12.21 points (0.46%) from the previous trading day. Foreigners and institutions net sold 83.9 billion KRW and 62.4 billion KRW, respectively. Individuals net bought 145 billion KRW, helping to cushion the index's decline.
