100-Year-Old 'Children's Day', Gyeongnam Office of Education's 'Children Accompanying Online Experience Festival'
Operation of 82 Courses Linked with Online Nuri Classroom
Child Yard and Companion Yard on Every Holiday in May
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Gyeongnam Office of Education is presenting 82 courses for the ‘Children’s Day 100th Anniversary Online Experience Festival with Children.’
The Online Experience Festival with Children features experiential activities that elementary school students or families can participate in together, operated by teachers working in Gyeongnam on every public holiday throughout May.
For individual student participation, the Children’s Yard offers future education experiences and picture book play programs, while the Accompanying Yard for family participation includes LAN-seon (LAN line·online) play and psychological counseling programs.
The future education experience includes ‘Creative Problem Solving Activities Using Artificial Intelligence (AI)’ and ‘AI Mission Board Game,’ while the picture book play consists of book play programs such as ‘Imaginative Play with Picture Books’ and ‘Let’s Play Art.’
The family program LAN-seon play is composed of various online games such as ‘Memory Play with Parents’ and ‘Toy Maker,’ and the psychological counseling program includes ‘MBTI Test with Family,’ ‘Family Personality Preference Test,’ and ‘Family Counseling Using Tarot.’
The Online Experience Festival with Children courses will begin on the 5th, Children’s Day, with a total of 18 sessions and 82 courses scheduled.
An education office official stated that about 400 students and families have already registered, and the number of participants is expected to increase in the courses held every weekend.

Kim Seung-o, Director of Elementary Education, said, “We will operate experiential events that can be participated in from any region in Gyeongnam, and connect them with the customized student program, the online Nuri Classroom outside of school, which is created and operated directly by teachers.”
