Half Coffee's 'Butter Cream Latte' Surpasses 1.5 Million Cups in Cumulative Sales
Since its launch in 2018, Cream Latte accounts for 70% of annual Half Coffee sales
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Specialty coffee shop Half Coffee announced on the 4th that the cumulative sales of its signature menu item, the ‘Butter Cream Latte,’ have surpassed 1.5 million cups.
The Butter Cream Latte is Half Coffee’s signature drink, launched alongside the opening of its first store in 2018. As a representative menu showcasing the brand identity ‘Half and Half,’ it features the unique combination of the smooth butter cream produced fresh daily in-store and the aroma of specialty coffee.
Known as the ‘Scotch Candy flavored coffee,’ the Butter Cream Latte gained popularity through word of mouth on social media (SNS) as a highly addictive beverage that customers often drink two or more cups of. The cream latte menu accounts for about 70% of Half Coffee’s annual total sales and drives the brand’s growth. In addition to the Butter Cream Latte, Half Coffee offers five types of cream lattes, including Matcha Cream Latte, Banana Cream Latte, Vanilla Cream Chocolate Latte, and Einsp?nner.
Jung Yonghan, CEO of Yeodeolkkini, said, “The Butter Cream Latte and cream donuts, which contain Half Coffee’s unique cream know-how, are receiving great love from customers,” adding, “We plan to expand beyond cream to various dessert menus to present customers with the best premium dessert line.”
