Hyundai Marine & Fire Expands Medicare Services "Strengthening Customized Healthcare"
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on the 4th that it has expanded and revamped its health management program, ‘Medicare Service,’ which was provided to insurance policyholders.
The Medicare Service offers services ranging from health management to appointment scheduling, nurse accompaniment, and treatment support. Through this revamp, the scope has been broadened to be more diverse and extensive.
For customers with children’s insurance, new services such as ‘Early Baby (Premature Infant) Childcare Care,’ ‘365 Days 24-Hour Health Consultation,’ and ‘Baby Food Consultation’ have been newly launched. Additionally, specialized services for disease occurrence, such as ‘Vehicle Escort’ and ‘Healthy Meal Delivery,’ have been newly established.
The newly established ‘Early Baby Childcare Care’ is a customized service for the increasing number of early babies due to social environmental factors such as advanced maternal age and infertility treatments. It provides professional childcare care information including emergency response and health management, and when necessary, a dedicated nurse visits the home to support childcare education.
Furthermore, the operating hours for professional medical staff health consultation services for children’s insurance customers have been expanded to 365 days, 24 hours, allowing direct health consultations with medical professionals anytime, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
In addition, alongside ‘Nurse Hospital Accompaniment’ for major illnesses, a new ‘Healthy Meal Delivery’ service has been introduced. Customers can receive recovery meal plans such as low-sugar diets, longevity diets, and diabetic diets delivered to their homes. The ‘Vehicle Escort’ service is also provided to assist convenient transportation during hospital admission and discharge due to major illnesses.
