President-elect Yoon to Begin 3-Day Second Regional Tour Tomorrow... Visiting Honam and Busan
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol will embark on his second regional tour, visiting Honam and Busan for three days and two nights starting from the 20th of this month.
Baek Hyun-jin, spokesperson for the president-elect, said at a briefing held at the transition committee press conference in Tongui-dong, Seoul on the 19th, "(President-elect Yoon) will begin regional schedules starting tomorrow." A related official from Yoon's side explained, "It is expected to be a three-day, two-night schedule."
On the 20th, President-elect Yoon is scheduled to visit Jeonbuk Saemangeum and Jeonju Innovation City, and on the 21st, he is known to visit Busan.
During his candidacy, President-elect Yoon held five rallies in Honam, and Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, also frequently appealed for support in Honam, resulting in the highest vote share in the Honam region among conservative party presidential candidates in history.
Prior to this, from the 11th, President-elect Yoon visited Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions on a two-day, one-night schedule, including Andong Jungang Market, Sangju Market, Gumi Industrial Complex, Yeongilman Bridge construction site, and Pohang Jukdo Market, to express gratitude for his election and listen to local issues.
