[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The representative of a wedding company who embezzled deposits from about 300 engaged couples has been sent to the prosecution.
On the 13th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that former wedding planning company representative Mr. A was sent to the prosecution without detention on charges of fraud.
Mr. A is accused of declaring bankruptcy last December due to financial difficulties caused by COVID-19, firing wedding planners, and failing to return deposits to customers.
