KODEX US S&P Energy Returns 64.91%... Ranked '1st' Among Overseas ETFs
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] Samsung Asset Management announced on the 6th that the KODEX US S&P Energy (Synthetic) ETF achieved a 1-year return of 64.91%, ranking first among all overseas equity funds.
This product recorded the highest returns across all periods, with returns of 36.80%, 51.12%, and 41.13% over the past 3 months, 6 months, and year-to-date, respectively.
Listed in April 2015, the KODEX US S&P Energy (Synthetic) ETF invests in the energy sector among the US S&P 500 constituent stocks, tracking the S&P Energy Select Sector Index as its underlying benchmark. It invests in 41 top US oil-producing companies highly correlated with oil prices, including Exxon Mobil and Chevron.
