SK Gas and SK Energy Jointly Conduct
April 1 to December 31 for Small Business Owners and Self-Employed
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] SK Gas and SK Energy are conducting a win-win program for livelihood-type liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) drivers who face increased fuel costs due to high oil prices.
The two companies announced on the 31st that from next month 1st until December 31st, a 9-month period, they will hold an event to provide additional 'Happy Charging Membership' points for small business owners and self-employed individuals using LPG vehicles. During the event period, livelihood-type LPG vehicles using SK LPG stations nationwide will earn 3% points, which is up to 6 times the existing 'Happy Charging Membership' point accumulation rate.
The targeted livelihood-type LPG vehicles include approximately 34,000 1-ton cargo LPG trucks, about 100,000 vans and quick service vehicles, and around 10,000 children's school buses, totaling about 144,000 vehicles. According to the company, based on a Bongo3 1-ton truck that operates about 20,000 km annually, users can expect additional accumulated benefits of up to approximately 75,000 KRW. The accumulated points can be used like cash when refueling LPG.
To participate in the event, one must be registered with the SK LPG membership, Happy Charging Membership.
