[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The International Intellectual Property Training Institute of the Korean Intellectual Property Office announced on the 30th that it signed a business agreement with the Korea Customs Service Talent Development Institute via non-face-to-face means to "strengthen education on intellectual property rights protection and customs administration capabilities." The agreement was made in response to the situation where a large volume of counterfeit products of Korean companies' goods are being produced and distributed due to the Korean Wave, causing significant damage.
