Suwon City Offers Free 'Interview Suit' Rental for Youth
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province is lending interview suits to young people preparing for employment.
On the 30th, Suwon City announced that it will introduce the 'Cheongnarae' project, which lends interview suits free of charge to Suwon youth aged 19 to 34 who are preparing for employment.
The city lends suits up to three times per person per year, with a rental period of 3 nights and 4 days. Rental items include suit jackets and pants, shirts, blouses, and neckties.
Rentals can be made by clicking the 'Cheongnarae' banner on the Suwon Youth Support Center website (http://www.swyouth.kr), making a reservation, and then visiting the rental store to pick up the items. Rental locations are ▲Suit Gallery (108 Edutown-ro, Yeongtong-gu) ▲The Iris (17 Jungbu-daero 170beon-gil, Paldal-gu) ▲Suit Vine (2nd floor, 31 Gyeongsu-daero 994beon-gil, Jangan-gu), among three places.

A city official said, "The Cheongnarae project, which started in 2018, has gained popularity among job-seeking youth through word of mouth and received favorable reviews, leading to the budget being exhausted early last year. This year, we will invest more budget than last year so that more young people can borrow interview suits from Cheongnarae," he introduced.
