On the 25th, Won Hee-ryong, the Planning Committee Chairman of the Transition Committee, tested positive for COVID-19 and entered self-quarantine.
Chairman Won wrote on his social media service (SNS) Facebook account, "I tested positive for COVID-19. My voice is barely coming out and I am not feeling well," adding, "I have not been able to respond to many contacts, but I will take twice as much care once I recover. Of course, the Planning Committee will operate well."
Earlier, in the Planning and Coordination Subcommittee, which serves as the 'control tower' of the Transition Committee, Assemblyman Chu Kyung-ho tested positive for COVID-19 on the 20th, followed by Transition Committee member Choi Jong-hak, who was confirmed positive on the 23rd and entered self-quarantine.

Assemblyman Chu is expected to return around the weekend, but Committee member Choi will have to work from home until mid-next week. Vice Chairman Kwon Young-se of the Transition Committee also tested positive for COVID-19 on the 19th and has been in self-quarantine since then.
