View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Gwangyang Office of Education announced on the 24th that it conducted a safety education session for 102 drivers and safety guidance personnel of school commuting vehicles from kindergartens, elementary, middle, high, and special schools in the district at the Seoul National University Southern Academic Forest Auditorium.
This training was conducted with Deputy General Manager Song Gyu-hong of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority Gwangju Jeonnam Headquarters, focusing on understanding children's behavioral characteristics and reviewing actual traffic accident cases that occurred around us to emphasize safe driving.
Additionally, to emphasize drivers' frequent self-inspection of vehicles, the training was operated with case-centered sessions such as checking the vehicle inspection checklist and understanding situations that may arise from breakdowns during operation.
A public official who attended the training said, "Through this education, I was reminded once again of the importance of safety in school commuting vehicles," and added, "I will continue to comply with traffic regulations and strive to support safe commuting."
