Public Home Shopping Launches Public Project Group to Support Small Business Owners and SMEs
Independent Public Interest Budgeting, Substantial Support Initiatives
One-Stop Sales Channel Support Including Commercialization, Marketing, and Sales Broadcasting
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] Gongyoung Home Shopping has launched a public business unit to foster small business owners, ventures, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and has begun promoting public interest projects.
On the 24th, Gongyoung Home Shopping announced that it will actively promote public interest projects by allocating its own budget to support TV home shopping and live commerce sales channels and marketing for small business owners, ventures, and SMEs nationwide.
The core of the public business unit is one-stop sales channel support. The company explained that by providing one-stop sales channel support to small business owners, venture startups, youth startups, regional startups, disabled enterprises, and social enterprises nationwide, it aims to contribute to government policies.
Gongyoung Home Shopping plans to provide practical assistance by allocating its own public interest budget to support TV video production costs and live commerce promotion expenses, and by waiving all commissions for TV home shopping live broadcasts and live commerce sales. Outstanding products will be converted to regular broadcasts after the show ends to nurture them into mega-hit products, providing a foundation for stable market settlement.
To ensure fair and transparent product selection for public projects, Gongyoung Home Shopping conducts evaluations through an "expert non-face-to-face evaluation management system" involving external experts. Additional points are awarded to creative innovative products and Brand K certified products. Products will be selected through contests held at 15 economic promotion agencies nationwide.
