[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jin-ho] The International Business Institute affiliated with the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI) announced on the 24th that it has been selected as the operating institution for the "Overseas Employment Training Project K-Move School" in the United States, organized by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, to train global talents in management and accounting for employment in the U.S., and is recruiting trainees in the relevant fields.
A total of 20 trainees will be selected. Anyone who is a university student in at least the first semester of their senior year or a job seeker (under 36 years old) can apply.
The training period is from the 18th of next month to September 2nd, lasting a total of 5 months. During the training course, education to improve job skills and language abilities such as the U.S. management system, accounting, computer utilization, and English speaking (Opic) will be provided.
Selected trainees can receive support benefits including tuition fees, textbook fees, and certification exam fees. They can also receive various additional support such as overseas employment settlement subsidies from the Human Resources Development Service, training allowances from the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and support funds from the Overseas Koreans Foundation.
An official from the FKI International Business Institute said, “Management and accounting-related jobs are fields with steady job demand in the U.S., making them suitable areas where Korea’s outstanding talents can stand out.”

After completing the course, customized support for employment in the U.S. is also available. The application deadline for this course is the 8th of next month. Applications and inquiries can be made through the FKI International Business Institute website or the Human Resources Development Service of Korea website.
