Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Corporation, 'Korea's National Park Commemorative Coins' Public Lottery
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Minting, Security Printing & ID Card Operating Corporation announced on the 23rd that it conducted a public lottery to select buyers for the 'Korea's National Park Commemorative Coins.' The public lottery was held because the number of purchase applications exceeded the number of coins issued following the reservation process.
The public lottery was conducted by a computer program in the presence of Korea Minting employees and officials from the Bank of Korea.
The Korea's National Park Commemorative Coins are composed of single coins for each park and a set of three, featuring Gayasan, Byeonsanbando, and Odaesan National Parks as backgrounds.
The winners will be announced on the 28th through the Korea Minting website and shopping mall, as well as NH Nonghyup Bank and Woori Bank counters and websites.
Distribution of the commemorative coins will begin on the 21st of next month.
