Gwangju Bank and Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation Sign Agreement on Card-Type Local Love Gift Certificates
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Gwangju Bank announced on the 22nd that it signed a business agreement with Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation at its headquarters to launch a card-type local love gift certificate.
The signing ceremony was attended by Song Jong-wook, President of Gwangju Bank, Ban Jang-sik, President of Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, and other officials. Starting from May, card-type local love gift certificates will be issued by each local government in the Jeonnam region. Gwangju Bank promised to actively cooperate in supporting related services by building a computer system to issue these cards through the ‘Local Gift Certificate chak’ app (APP).
Through this, it is expected that the activation and convenience of using local love gift certificates in cities and counties of the Jeonnam region will increase, contributing to income growth for local small business owners and self-employed individuals as well as revitalizing the local economy.
