Prudential Life Insurance 'Pru Starjigi' Customer Panel Recruitment "Strengthening Customer Communication"
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Prudential Life Insurance announced on the 17th that it is recruiting the first generation of customer panels called 'Puru Starjigi (知己)' to practice customer-centric management.
'Puru Starjigi (知己)' is a new customer communication channel that reviews and examines Prudential Life Insurance's products and services from the customer's perspective.
Prudential Life Insurance plans to listen to and actively incorporate opinions from all age groups, ranging from the digitally savvy MZ generation (born from the early 1980s to the early 2000s) to the senior generation experiencing digital exclusion, in line with recent changes in the insurance industry such as non-face-to-face and digitalization.
The name of the customer panel, 'Puru Starjigi (知己),' was selected through an internal naming contest for employees. It contains the meaning of 'Jigi (知己),' which refers to a friend who truly understands one's inner thoughts, reflecting Prudential Life Insurance's aim for customer-friendliness.
A total of 100 customer panels will be recruited, and any customer interested in insurance can apply through the website.
The selected 'Puru Starjigi (知己)' will participate in service improvement and product development from the customer's perspective, starting with the launch ceremony in April, including ▲participation in new product planning and development stages ▲providing improvement suggestions for products and services ▲proposing ideas at any time. A fixed activity fee will be paid monthly to the panels, and incentives will be provided to outstanding participants.

A Prudential Life Insurance official stated, "In the rapidly changing financial environment, it is more important than anything else to listen to and reflect various customer opinions for the growth of Prudential Life Insurance and the enhancement of financial consumer rights," adding, "We will continue to strive to practice consumer-centered management and improve customer satisfaction together with 'Puru Starjigi (知己)'."
