Suncheon Cultural Foundation Holds Business Briefing Session This Year
Reflections from Last Year's Meeting to Be Maximally Incorporated into This Year's Projects
Separate Tables for Each Project Established for Q&A Sessions
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon Cultural Foundation (Chairman Heo Seok) announced on the 14th that it will hold a project briefing session for local artists and citizens at the Suncheon City Culture and Health Center Multipurpose Hall from around 2 PM to 6 PM on the 17th.
This briefing session was prepared to provide information about various cultural and artistic projects and public contest projects operated by the foundation this year, to enhance understanding of the projects, and to collect participants' opinions through on-site Q&A.
The briefing session will proceed in the order of last year's project performance, introduction of this year's support projects, explanation of evaluation and selection, and Q&A.
This year's projects include a total of 14 detailed projects: ▲ 3 projects supporting artists' activities, ▲ 5 projects supporting the enhancement of professional cultural and artistic capabilities, and ▲ 6 projects supporting citizens' cultural enjoyment.
After the briefing session, understanding of the project details will be enhanced through separate project-specific table Q&A sessions in the lobby on the first floor of the multipurpose hall.
Applications to participate in the project briefing session will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis by phone in advance, and for artists and citizens who cannot attend the briefing session, the on-site video of the briefing will be streamed online later.

A representative of the Suncheon Cultural Foundation said, "This briefing session was prepared to help cultural artists, organizations, and general citizens understand the projects and to encourage active participation," adding, "We are making efforts to reflect the field opinions raised at last year's meeting as much as possible in this year's project contents, so we ask for the interest and participation of many people in the various projects conducted by the foundation."
