[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] In the exit polls conducted on the 9th for the 20th presidential election, Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party of Korea's presidential candidate, and Yoon Seok-youl, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, were shown to be in an extremely close race.
According to exit polls by the three terrestrial broadcasters KBS, MBC, and SBS, Candidate Lee recorded 47.8%, while Candidate Yoon recorded 48.4%, showing a gap of 0.6 percentage points.
