BMT, Aramco Certification... Targeting Middle East Oil & Gas Plant Market
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] BMT announced on the 8th that it has obtained certification from Saudi Arabia Aramco, the world's largest oil company.
A company official stated, "Based on over 30 years of accumulated technology in the fitting and valve fields, we went through a verification process and obtained Aramco certification."
He added, "We passed technical and quality tests that prioritize safety and reliability," emphasizing, "It is recognition of the world's highest level of fitting and valve quality."
The approved products include a total of six items: ▲tube fittings ▲instrumentation valves including ball valves ▲manifold valves. This is the largest number of approved items among domestic fitting and valve companies.
They can also supply to domestic and international construction companies and equipment manufacturers that have received orders from Aramco. Recently, the price of Dubai crude oil has exceeded $100 per barrel, maintaining a high oil price situation. Due to increased investment in the energy sector caused by high oil prices, demand for fittings and valves for oil and gas plants is expected to rise.
A BMT official explained, "We have obtained Aramco certification, which is considered one of the industry's top certifications," and added, "We have laid the foundation to target markets in the Middle East and Africa, including Saudi Arabia."
