CJ ENM Commerce Division Appoints Yoon Sang-hyun as New CEO
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] CJ ENM announced on the 8th that Yoon Sang-hyun, Head of Management Support at CJ Logistics, has been appointed as the new CEO of its commerce division.
CJ ENM explained that following CEO Heo Min-ho's resignation due to health reasons, they appointed a young CEO to lead commerce innovation centered on mobile platforms.
Since joining CJ Group in 1999, Yoon has led major mergers and acquisitions (M&A) that reshaped the CJ Group landscape, including the acquisition of CJ Logistics and Schwan's by CJ CheilJedang. Since 2020, he has served as Head of Management Support at CJ Logistics, leading strategic partnerships between Naver and CJ.
Yoon is expected to be officially appointed as CEO after approval from the board of directors and the regular shareholders' meeting. CEO Heo will be appointed as a full-time advisor to provide guidance.
