Jasaeng Medical Foundation Donates 50 Million Won to Wildfire Victims
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] Jaseng Medical Foundation announced on the 8th that it will donate 50 million KRW to support the recovery from the wildfires along the East Coast, including Uljin in Gyeongbuk and Samcheok and Gangneung in Gangwon Province.
The fund was raised through the collective contributions of the executives and employees of Jaseng Medical Foundation's Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital and Jaseng Korean Medicine Clinic, and will be delivered through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea. The funds will be used to purchase relief supplies and support housing and livelihoods for the wildfire victims in Uljin-gun, the area most severely affected by the fires.
