Jungjingong Provides 55.9 Billion KRW Innovation Vouchers to Small Manufacturing Enterprises
Targeting Manufacturing Small Enterprises with an Average Annual Sales of 12 Billion KRW or Less Over Three Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 7th that it will operate the Small Business Innovation Voucher Project to support management innovation such as competitiveness enhancement and carbon neutrality for small manufacturing enterprises.
The support target is small manufacturing enterprises with an average sales of 12 billion KRW or less over three years. Depending on sales, 50-90% of the voucher issuance amount is supported up to a maximum of 50 million KRW. SBC plans to expand the innovation voucher budget to 55.9 billion KRW this year and support about 1,800 companies.
Companies can freely choose and use desired services from 18 programs in three fields: ▲consulting ▲technical support ▲marketing on the voucher menu. SBC helps strengthen the competitiveness of small manufacturing enterprises by newly adding ESG (environment, social, governance) consulting and IP consulting to the voucher support programs in response to changes in the management environment. The carbon neutrality management innovation voucher will also be supported by expanding the budget and support scale.
The project announcement will be carried out sequentially by regional Small and Medium Venture Business Offices, considering the target industries and timing by region. Chairman Kim Hak-do said, "Through last year's innovation voucher project, SBC supported 1,672 companies with 44.7 billion KRW, actively helping companies turn the crisis caused by COVID-19 into an opportunity," and added, "We will continue to provide customized support so that small manufacturing enterprises can strengthen market competitiveness and achieve management innovation."
