Gwangju Buk-gu Operates 'Youth Policy Integrated Counseling Office'
Sharing Information on Youth Job Policies and Projects, Providing Specialized Employment and Startup Consulting
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju City is attracting attention by operating a one-stop integrated consultation window to support youth activities.
According to Buk-gu on the 1st, a 'Youth Policy Integrated Consultation Room' where one-stop information acquisition is possible, including youth support projects and policies, sharing employment and startup information, 1:1 consultations, and youth center program guidance, has been established on the 3rd floor of the Buk-gu Youth Center (Cheongchunirang) and will be operated starting this month.
The 'Youth Policy Integrated Consultation Room' consists of two program areas: ▲ online and offline consultations ▲ employment and startup consulting.
Online and offline consultations operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and can be conducted in the manner desired by the individual through the Buk-gu Youth Center website, KakaoTalk channel (@GwangjuBukguYouthCenter), phone, or in-person consultations.
For the convenience of youth, on-site consultations linked with the 'Mobile Youth Center' and others will also be conducted.
Employment and startup consulting is operated in connection with the Regional Employment Policy Research Institute and the Gwangju Regional Headquarters of the Small and Medium Business Corporation. Employment consulting supports resume editing and interview consulting, while startup consulting offers mentoring on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month (from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.).
Youths aged 19 to 39 who reside or are active in Buk-gu can participate.
Director Moon said, "We hope that youths struggling with employment and startups can resolve their difficulties through the Youth Policy Integrated Consultation Room and receive professional consulting to gain practical help in employment and startups."
Meanwhile, Buk-gu opened the Buk-gu Youth Center in 2020 and has been promoting various policies to support youth employment and startups, such as 'AI·VR Interview Experience,' 'Metaverse Youth Center,' 'Startup Space Support Using Public Rental Housing,' and 'Youth Local Creator Street Formation.'
