[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] On the 26th (local time), intense clashes were reported in the Vasylkiv area, about 29 km south of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, according to CNN citing the Ukrainian military.
The Ukrainian military stated, "Fierce fighting is currently underway in the village of Vasylkiv." Russian forces are also advancing towards Kyiv from the north and east of the city.
