Gochang-gun Operates 'Home Treatment Consultation Center'... 24-Hour Response

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk Province, announced on the 24th that it is operating a ‘Home Treatment Counseling Center’ to alleviate the inconveniences faced by home treatment patients due to the recent government quarantine system reform and the explosive increase in confirmed cases.

Until now, the Gochang-gun Public Health Center experienced delays in phone connections due to tasks such as screening clinics, rapid antigen testing sites, and vaccination, making it difficult to provide prompt information.

Accordingly, the county plans to actively resolve the anxiety of home treatment patients (co-isolators) by establishing the counseling center to provide prompt information related to COVID-19 confirmation and home treatment.

The counseling center established within the Gochang-gun Home Treatment Promotion Team is largely divided into an administrative center and a counseling center.

The administrative center provides guidance on general civil complaints excluding medical consultations, home treatment isolation management, daily life rules, start and end dates of the home treatment period, and how to apply for living support funds.

The medical counseling center informs about non-face-to-face medical institutions and how to use them.
