The National Health Insurance Service provides free disinfection services to the homes of long-term care home beneficiaries.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The National Health Insurance Service Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters has launched a free service to visit the homes of long-term care beneficiaries and carry out disinfection work.
The regional headquarters announced on the 23rd that it will provide free disinfection services to the homes of long-term care home-based beneficiaries who are vulnerable to infections.
In collaboration with four local social enterprises?Busan Now System, Ulsan Haengbok Baragi, Goseong, and Geochang Neulpureun Saramdeul?it will support a total of 734 free disinfection services by the end of this year.
This is 284 more times than the 450 times last year. While last year the service targeted day and night care institutions and beneficiaries, this year the plan is to extend support to beneficiaries' homes as well.
The free disinfection service includes virus and pest extermination using an ultra-fine particle pesticide sprayer, along with education on daily disinfection know-how that can be easily practiced in everyday life.
A representative of the participating companies said, “We actively participated because we saw this as an opportunity to contribute through free volunteering to elderly households with poor living environments and hygiene conditions.”
