According to the Gwangju Dongbu Police Station on the 22nd, around 12 PM that day, a report was received that part of the banner of Sim Sang-jung, the Justice Party presidential candidate, hanging in front of a livestock cooperative in Dongmyeong-dong, Dong-gu, was torn.
Around 9 AM, the string of the banner of Lee Baek-yoon, the Labor Party presidential candidate, was found damaged in front of a roundabout in Jisan-dong.
The police are currently analyzing nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and investigating the detailed circumstances based on the situations in which the banners were damaged.
